A Merry Christmas and all my wishes granted.

Merry Christmas to everyone.
I just want to say that this year has been a memorable year for me and literally all my (main) wishes have been granted, from my job, salary, loved ones and even material things. 2010 has been a great year for me and I am hoping that 2011 will be even better.
I am now with my loved one and I have received the gift from my wishlist during our exchange gift at the office which is actually an earth pad plus the person who gave me the gift gave me a portable towel as well.
I could never ask for more!
If there is anything that I would like to ask for for the coming year is good health, good fortune and peace of mind for everyone especially for my family.
I will strive harder, work harder to provide a better future for my family. I can say I am living the good life but I can definitely make it even better.
I would like to thank God for answering all my prayers. It was right that I placed all my faith in Him and never lost hope and in return, he granted all my prayers.
I pray that everyone will do the same and hope that everyone will also have their prayers answered.
Praying doesn't mean asking for something and expecting something in return. Praying means you have faith and that you believe in God. Have faith in Him and you will be rewarded.

Christmas and Gift Giving.

Christmas is near and actually I am not expecting any gifts from anyone except maybe from my mom and from our office since we have this Kris Kringle. You pick a name of one of your colleagues and you give them a gift for Christmas. Usually there is a rule like the price but you can give a more expensive gift as long as it comes from the heart but the price of the gift should at least reach the minimum price that's on the rule. There is also a wishlist so you don't need to think of what you can give to the person that you picked but it kind of removes the surprise but it is better than giving a gift cheque because it removes the spirit of opening gifts and suprising someone that you were able to actually find the gift that they wanted to receive. If you ask me, of course I won't be a hypocrite and I would still accept the gift cheque, but again, there is no more surprise on that maybe just the excitement on what you can buy with it. I am actually having troubles in buying the gift for the person that I picked, he has this airsoft gear as a wishlist and lucky for me, there is a gun shop or whatever you call it at the mall near our place and they sell airsoft equipment. Lucky for the person whom I picked, he already has a gift from me.

If you're reading this (guy from Kris Krisngle), you're lucky I bought your gift already.

I am a very shallow person and I really like getting surprises even with the smallest things or ideas. For example, give me a chocolate bar that I love and I will be smiling all the day because I know I was remembered and you know that the person made an effort to produce that gift. Give me money and of course I will definitely be smiling because I know I can buy whatever I want with the money but it's not as special compared to getting something that you really want and was even wrapped in special paper or box giving you that excitement or thrill, I bet you will be smiling from the time you receive the box up to the time you're already using the gift.I remember my mom giving me this little puppy toy when I was a kid. It was a cheap toy but it was so cute and I was staring at it while she wraps it so she can give it to my cousins. I asked her if I can have it and she replied it was for my cousins. I did not ask for it again and then Christmas came, I opened my mom's gift for me and it was that toy puppy. I was so happy and it was one of those memorable Cristmas gifts that I had.

 I am not saying all people are like me but I think most are - maybe 70% will be happy you've given something that is not expensive but you really gave an effort in giving it to them. So you have 30% chance in failure but hey, it's glass more than half full, if they don't accept it or if they are not happy, it's not your loss, give it to somebody else who might appreciate it 100 times more.

I'm definitely gonna get something my heart desires...

And so... if you're gonna give someone a gift and you want that person to smile all day and remember you for the rest of their life (maybe not really but they will remember you for sure) make sure you give that person
something that he or she really likes. It does not mean giving something super expensive or their dream car, you can ask them or chat with them and get a few hints or if you're close with the person like a relative or best friend, you should already know what they want and for sure, it will be one if their memorable Christmas and yours too.

Happy Birthday to ME! (and my December Calendar)

It's my BIRTHDAY!

I just got home from work and I don't know what to do yet for my birthday though since it's December already, it just means parties, parties and parties!

My mom plans on buying a cake specifically the Mango Bravo cake from Conti's because her student is the owner of that famous restaurant.  I can't wait!

I have lots of friends who celebrate their birthday in the month of December as well so we plan on getting together. I also plan on attending a gift giving event for poor children. I also need to attend Christmas parties for my company and my friend's company.

Just this weekend my friend and I shopped for clothes for their Christmas Party. The theme of their party is Fashion so we had to look for clothes that are fashionable. There is a twist though with the theme coz you need to choose from one of the seasons like Spring Summer Fall and Winter. I actually wanted Winter same with my friend so we can wear our boots but we ended up buying something that looks like for Fall or Spring.

I originally wanted to wear a dress then my mid calf suede boots then a scarf but since I saw this dress at the mall, plans got changed. I will now be wearing this tube dress with ruffled skirt that has a flower pattern. I will also wear black leggings as the bottom and black doll shoes and a denim short sleeved bolero coz the top part of the dress is a bit like denim.

The dress had two colors available, one black and one pink and since it's kind of cheap, 399 pesos (10$), I bought the both colors!

My friend on the other hand was planning a dress/coat or trenchcoat or whatever you call it then leggings, her suede ankle boots, a scarf on her nech and a hat or bonnet but it changed coz we saw this striped top with a fake vest and then a plaid skirt so now she will be wearing a blue top and blue plaid skirt with leggings, her ankle boots, scarf and a bonnet or hat.

Okay so that party is done, just have to wait for the party itself, but for my company's party we will be having a rock themed party so I dunno what to wear but maybe I will just wear black and then whatever.. haha! I don't think people will actually dress up as a rock star for the party because most will be coming from work.

Another party that I will attend to is my friend's party. She plans on mixing drinks for her party after we tasted the cocktails at one of our friend's sister's wedding reception at a club in Makati. We plan on making Blue Hawaiin', Blue Lagoon, Shirly Temple, B-52, Chocolate Covered Cherry and lots more.

I also plan on learning how to swim since I don't know how (and the end of the world is near. just kidding!) and this Saturday is my first session with my friend. We will be taught how to swim by another friend who trained for water/swimming survival.

For the other weekends, I also plan on going to Enchanted Kingdom and then maybe meet with college or high school friends or if I still have time, fix my room. There are also lots of events at Eastwood City where I work like the Quest Crew, Regine Velasquez, Christmas Village etc. Such a busy and super fun month!

I also plan on buying whatever gift I want to give myself. ^_^

December is my favorite month and I'm glad I was born during this month!

Wishlist for my Birthday and Christmas.

I am saving money for some gadgets. I really want a camera specifically a DSLR (either a Canon or a Nikon) but almost a year ago, I did not have a job so I only thought of buying the Panasonic Lumix LX3. I already have a digital camera also a Lumix but it's an FS4. Lumix already has its LX5 which is also a great camera but now that I have saved up money, my eyes are on Canon 550D, the newly released 60D with a swivel LCD screen or Nikon's D5000 (though I am worried about the lack of AF motor), D90, or the release of D7000.

I can actually buy the D90, 550D or D5000 right away but I'm thinking of waiting for the D7000 then I will have my decision.

Another dilemma that I have is... since I started blogging, I want to update my blog as much as possible so I am also thinking of buying a new celfone. I am not that picky when it comes to celfones since I have been using the most basic celfones that you can think of. As long as the celfone can send sms and call I am fine with it. The most expensive celfone that I used is either the Treo, Motorola V9 or the N71. I am not sure about their prices but I think those are the most expensive celfones that I have used but my N71 got broken ( I actually think I was tricked by those celfone repair shops...), the V9 was given away as well as the Treo plus again I am not really into celfones. I did not even use the camera of those celfones. But again, I am into the blogging world so I need to upgrade my tools. I want a celfone that has a camera, wifi and can read ebooks and play music. I am thinking of either buying Nokia X6, N97, or N900 but I am leaning on N97 and N900 becauseof the qwerty keyboard because I know I will be typing a lot and X6 is just a tablet.


My budget is kinda ruined because of my plan of buying a new celfone but definitely I will buy a DSLR soon either on Christmas or on January 2011 so maybe I will buy a celfone for my birthday first. Still deciding on which celfone to buy... it's soooo confusing!

How I wish my dad would give me at least the celfone for my birthday and Christmas then I will buy the DSLR right away!

So... ahem... You don't need to ask me anymore what I want for my birthday or Christmas because I already wrote them here! But I will still accept any gift!!! Haha! ^______^V
