Movie Review: Moon

A sci-fi movie about a man with a job on the moon. He is all alone on the moon and he is hoping to go back to his home planet the earth soon after some years of working there to be reunited with his wife and family. He can't receive live messages from earth but taped ones from his wife. Along the story he discovers some shocking truths about himself and his job on the moon on why he is there etc.

It is very mind boggling. The effects aren't flashy but the setting as a near future event is not impossible such as the robot Gerty his assistant and his pod. No floating robots and transparent LCD touch screens etc. There aren't any special graphic effects and only one actor, Sam Rockwell. It is very dramatic and shows us what may happen in the future. As a viewer you should not stick to whether it has great special effects or if it is a high budget film but you should appreciate the story itself. If you don't want to have your brains working a lot as you watch a movie then this movie isn't for you.
